The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board has issued a notification for filling up 7140 vacancies for the recruitment to the post of TGT(Trained Graduate Teachers) and PGT (Post Graduate Teachers). Aspirants will be shortlisted only on the basis of their marks obtained in written exam and personal interview will be conducted for the qualified candidates from the written exam. The commission has classified the weightage of the selection process into 85% for written exam, 10% for personal interview test and 5% for special qualification(2 marks for Ph.D, 2 marks for M.Ed, 1 mark for B.Ed). The written exam was conducted successfully for both TGT and PGT on five different dates viz 25 January 2015, 1 February 2015 and 8 February 2015, 15 February 2015 and 22nd February 2015

Almost 84,000 eligible candidates has appeared for in this written exam and the exam was conducted in various exam centres across the state.
