Tamilnadu Post Circle has issued a notification for the recruitment to the post of Postman/Mail Guard. The recruitment was published in the website on 14 November 2014 against the notification number REP/5-1/DR/14. There are totally 806 recruitment which needs to be filled in recruiting the eligible and suitable candidates for the appropriate posts. The online application registration has commenced on 15 November 2014 from 00:00AM and it was lasting till 7 December 2014 till 11:59PM. The selection process of this recruitment will be made only on the basis of conducting aptitude test and the candidates will be confirmed as selected by merit basis, strictly. The eligible criteria to apply for this position is that the candidates should have passed matriculation from the recognized board/university for both the recruitment

The Tamilnadu Police man/Mail Guard exam pattern comprised of three Parts namely, Part-A, Part-B and Part-C(I and II). The Part-A had questions of General knowledge carrying 25 questions, Part-B consisted of 25 Mathematics questions, Part-C(I)  had English(25 marks) and part-C(II) had 25 questions. So, the total value of question paper was conducted for 100 Marks and each questions carries 1 mark. All the questions were Objective type multiple choice questions and no negative mark will be given for wrong answers. The duration of the exam will be for 120 minutes. So candidates who are given the Tamilnadu Post man/Mail Guard Written test on 28th December 2014 can check the Answer Key published officially at www.dopchennai.in or www.tamilnadupost.nic.in. Based on the Written test performance, candidates will be selected based on their cut-off score.

The General category candidates should score minimum of 40% in aggregate, the OBC category candidates should score minimum of 37% in aggregate and SC/ST candidates to get qualified in the written test.should score 33% in aggregate.
