Vast number of candidates who have interest to become a teacher and to retain their teacher post in Karnataka have applied for the exam via online from 13th July 2015 to 10th August 2015 at http://kartet.caconline.in/ .There are two types of TET, one is for primary teacher post and other is for secondary teacher post. One will write any of the paper or both as per their qualification and interest.
Karnataka TET Sep 2015 (Paper 1 & Paper 2) Primary teacher and Secondary teacher Syllabus & Exam Pattern
Paper I is for primary teacher post and paper II is for secondary teacher post. So, the syllabus for the first and second paper is slightly varied accordingly.
There are three common sections in both the paper such as Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I and Language II. Each section will carry 30 questions in each paper. Fourth and fifth section of paper I will have questions from the following topics Mathematics and Environmental Studies. The number of questions in each section will be 30. However the fourth and last section of the second paper will have questions from either Mathematics or Social Science as per the subject which the candidates have studied and chose.
The number of questions in this section will be 60. Each right answer will be given one mark. Thus the total marks for each paper is 150.
Candidates should score atleast the minimum eligibility marks for qualifying the Teacher Eligibility Test.
