Lots of applications were received from the eligible candidates through online by the Karnataka Public Service Commission for Administrative Service post. The last date for receiving online applications will be on 20th February 2015. Along with this post the recruitment for various posts also conducts simultaneously by the KPSC. As the Preliminary exam is scheduled on 19th April 2015, all the applicants spend most of their time for exam preparation. So they need Sample Question Papers and Previous year Question papers and try to download them.Only the selected candidates will attend the next level Main exam which is scheduled in the month of August. There is some limitation for writing the exam for general and OBC category candidates. General category candidates can attend the exam only 5 times that for OBC 7 times. SC/ST candidates can attend so many times ie there is no limit for them.
Out of 440 vacancies, the number of vacancies in Karnataka Administrative Service (Group A) Junior Scale – Assistant Commissioner post is 60. The number of vacancies in Karnataka Administrative Service (Group B) – Tahsildar is 114. The question paper for different post will be varied according to the educational qualification required. The name of the exam centers are Bangalore, Mysore, Hubli/Dharawad, Gulbarga, Shivamogga, Ballari and Belagavi.
