The Department of Karnataka Forest has issued a notification for filling up 81 vacancies for the recruitment to the post of Range Forest Officer(RFO). The online application for this recruitment was commenced on 20 November 2014 and the application was closed on 19 December 2014. A large number of candidates from various cities across the state of Karnataka has applied and participated in this recruitment written exam. The written exam for this RFO was held successfully on three different dates 10 February 2015, 14 February 2015 and 15 February 2015.
The written exam question papers for this Range Forest Officer Feb 2015 recruitment comprised of three papers namely Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III. The Paper-I comprised of 30 objective type multiple choice questions from the topics of Numerical ability, verbal and non-verbal ability, logical and analytical reasoning and statistics. The Paper-II consisted of 45 questions and the questions were from the topics of science aptitude. Whereas paper-III questions were from the topics of Current events(5 questions), History of India(5 questions), Indian and world geography(5 questions), Indian polity(5 questions), Indian economy(5 questions). The total number of questions amongst all the three papers were 100 and each question carries 1 mark. Candidates were given 3 hours to complete this RFO recruitment written exam.
