The first exam for the Jharkhand Forest Guard recruitment 2015 Process is the JFGCE 2014 Preliminary exam. All the 120 questions will be in objective type and will be finished within two hours. The topics from which the questions will be taken are general knowledge, reasoning, mental ability and basic computer knowledge. Only the shortlisted candidates can get the chance for writing main exam.

The JFGCE 2014 -15 Main exam will have three papers and and the type of questions will be subjective for some questions and objective for some questions. First paper will have 80 questions a special topic of district wise Tribe and the local language for 240 marks. Second paper will have 120 questions related with Maths and language whereas third paper will have questions from general knowledge and intelligence.

After the preliminary examination, only the number of shortlisted candidates which will be equal to five times the number of vacancies will be called for the main exam. After finishing the main exam successfully the qualified candidates will go for Physical and medical test.
