Maharashtra Public Service Commission received lots of application for filling 216 vacant positions in various posts. The various posts are Deputy District Collector, Deputy Tahsildar, DSP, APC, ACS, etc. The number of vacancies are different for different posts.
Large number of aspirants who waited for this type of recruitment for long time decided to beat the competition with well preparation. The online registration of application form was started on 31st December 2014 and closed on 27th January 2015. Selection of qualified candidates will be made first by written exam. The date of written exam will be on 5th April 2015. Only the shortlisted candidates will participate in the Interview.
The total vacancies are the summed up vacancies from all the districts of Maharashtra. As this is the State Level Preliminary exam, the selected candidates may write the main exam for the same post which they eligible and applied. There may be separate application for the main exam. Only the registered shortlisted applicants will be allowed for the main exam. The syllabus for the Preliminary exam follows the syllabus of degree level according to the post.
