After submitting the applications successfully as per the guidelines, all the aspirants make their search to find syllabus as well as the model question papers to compete the exam. The Preliminary exam will have two papers, CSAT paper I and II. CSAT means Civil Service Aptitude Test. Each paper will have multiple choice questions for 200 marks. Time duration will be given for each paper is two hours.
Different number of questions will be taken from the different topics which is differed for each paper. Jharkhand Public Service Commission will conduct the Preliminary exam for screening the suitable candidates to the next level ie Main exam. The vacancies left are in different services like Administrative services, Finance Services, Education services, Social Security Services , Information services, Police services and Cooperative Services.
