The Bihar Public Service Commission has issued a notification regarding recruitment to various posts. There are 746 posts which needs to be recruited by selecting the right candidates for the appropriate position. The eligible criteria to apply for the recruitment is that the candidates should be a graduate from the recognized university. The age limit of the candidates should be minimum of 20 years and maximum of 37 years for UR candidates(male and female), 40 years for BC and EBC(male and female) and 42 years for SC and ST(male and female). The online application has commenced from 2 September 2014 and it was available online till 15 October 2014. Huge number of candidates have applied and waiting to appear in the exam. The selection procedure of this exam will be made on the basis of conducting written exam of preliminary exam and main exam & Personal interview.
The Bihar Public Service Commission has stated that they will be conducting 56th, 57th 58th 59th common combined prelims. This preliminary exam will be held on 15 February 2015, said by the commission.
56th, 57th 58th 59th Common Combined Preliminary Exam Question pattern comprises of three papers viz.,
Paper I:General studies
Paper II:Compulsory subjects
Paper III:Optional subjects.
The Paper-II of compulsory subjects are English, Mathematics and General knowledge.
And paper-III, candidates needs to choose two papers out of 10 subjects(Mathematics/Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Geology, Statistics, Zoology, Economics and Agriculture).
The duration of the preliminary exam will be for two hours and the total value of the question paper will be 150 marks. All the questions will be of objective type multiple choice questions.
